Real Piano

A piano in your pocket

Real Piano by Bilkon turns an Android phone or tablet into a playable keyboard. It suits beginners testing the basics, casual players looking for a quick practice tool, and more experienced musicians who want to sketch out melodies away from a physical instrument. The interface opens directly on the keys rather than requiring a full music-production setup.

What you can play

The app provides a wide piano range with multitouch support, so users can play chords and several notes together. Key sizing can be adjusted to make the layout more comfortable on different screens. Alongside piano sounds, Real Piano includes other instrument choices such as flute, organ, and guitar, giving simple arrangements a different character without changing apps.

Recording and everyday use

Real Piano includes recording tools for capturing performances. Depending on the selected mode, users can save the sound of a session or record the sequence of key presses. That makes it useful for remembering ideas, reviewing practice, or sharing a short performance. Its straightforward controls are also suitable for younger users and anyone who does not need the complexity of a digital audio workstation.

Popularity and user feedback

With more than 100,000,000 installs and 258,909 ratings, Real Piano has reached a very large Android audience. Its current rating is 3.72 out of 5, suggesting a generally mixed reception rather than universal approval. Still, the combination of a familiar piano layout, additional instrument sounds, multitouch playing, adjustable keys, and recording options gives it a broad purpose within the Music category.
