My Lightning Tracker & Alerts

Track lightning activity on a live map

My Lightning Tracker & Alerts is a weather app for watching lightning strikes and thunderstorms around the world. It suits people who want a clearer view of nearby storm activity, whether they are checking conditions at home, planning outdoor time, or following storms in another location. The app presents detected strikes on a map so you can see where electrical activity is being recorded.

Storm information and recent activity

The map helps you follow developing thunderstorms and inspect areas with repeated lightning. You can also review lightning hotspots, making it easier to identify locations that regularly experience strike activity. A weather radar view adds another layer of context when you want to compare lightning reports with incoming weather.

Alerts for nearby strikes

Notifications can warn you when lightning is detected close to your chosen area. This makes the app useful when you would rather receive an alert than keep checking the map manually. You can also share information about a detected strike, allowing others to view the same storm activity.
